Offhand Torch & Lantern Tweak stops a torch or lantern held in the offhand from being placed by a right click when it is the last one in the stack.

What it does

Right-clicking while a torch or lantern is the final item in the offhand normally places it. With this mod, that accidental placement is prevented, so eating or using other items with a right click no longer puts the last light down. A config screen option turns the behavior off, and it applies only to vanilla torches and lanterns, leaving modded items alone. It runs on the client alone, so servers do not need it.

This mod prevents annoying accidental placement of the last torch or lantern in your offhand when you eat or try interact with right click. Can be turned off in config screen, also has option to affect not only vanilla toches/lanterns in case if you use other modded items.
