Guide Shelf

Guide Shelf opens a dedicated screen from a button in the inventory. The screen lists guide books from installed mods, such as Patchouli-based guides and other documentation items, and up to six books can be pinned to the inventory screen so they open in one click. The mod targets a broad modpack setup, and the author notes that some guides can be opened from the client alone.

Guide Shelf is a client-side mod for Forge and NeoForge, so it needs to be installed only on the client. Files are published for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. Patchouli is needed to read the guides it lists, and its Patchouli's Library dependency is the base for those books. The author notes that other guide item IDs can be added through the config file, and that guide support covers mods such as Alex's Mobs, Alex's Caves, Immersive Engineering, Cult Azazel and More Critters. The mod is published under All rights reserved and is not open source.
