Pop-up Emotes
by Catomon
With Pop-up Emotes, a player can show a picture or animated GIF above their character's head, chosen from the emote menu.
What it does
Pop-up Emotes lets players add their own emotes by pasting image links into the emote settings reached from the title screen. Images in the common web formats can be used, and each emote can be paired with one of several selectable sounds. The emote menu opens while the V key is held.
The mod is a social and decoration tool for multiplayer servers and single-player worlds alike. Its settings cover the scale and brightness of emotes, and a personal emote height that keeps emotes aligned when a custom player model is in use. Fabric, Forge and NeoForge builds are available, and the mod is published for 1.19.2 – 26.3 across 11 release versions. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is covered by All rights reserved and is not open source.
Pop-up Emotes is published under a single set of files per loader, with Fabric's latest file being 1.5.6 for 1.21.1 and Forge's and NeoForge's being 1.5.6 for 1.20.1 and 26.3 respectively.
