Simple Emotes
With Simple Emotes, players trigger short body animations such as cheering or laughing from a key binding, and other players on the same server see them.
What it does
Each emote is bound to a key that the player sets in the key bind settings, and the default bindings can be changed by hand. An animation plays once after its key is pressed, and only one animation runs at a time. Walking or sneaking cancels an emote in progress, and the animation affects only the body parts it is built for.
Because the emotes are shown to other players, the mod works in multiplayer. It is client and server: the server needs Simple Emotes too, and every player who wants to emote must install it. Simple Emotes depends on Aquarius Libs, which has to be installed alongside it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 15 release versions, 1.18.2 – 26.3, under All rights reserved, and the mod is not open source.
Key features
Key-bound animations
Each emote is triggered by a key, and the bindings are set in the key bind settings.
Single-play emotes
Every animation runs once after its key is pressed, so a second emote starts only after the first ends.
Movement cancels emotes
Walking or sneaking stops an emote early, while some animations such as cheering or laughing are cut short by sneaking.
Body-part animation
Each animation moves only the body parts it is designed for, so the arms or head can gesture while the rest of the body stays still.

Use cases
Multiplayer roleplay
Players on a server can greet or react to each other with emotes that the rest of the group sees.
Who it’s for: Players who want expressive animations in multiplayer, and server owners who want to offer them. Both the server and each player need the mod, along with Aquarius Libs.
How it compares
Online Emotes is a client-side only option, open source under the Open Software License 3.0, with files for 1.18 – 26.2 on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, so it does not need a server install. Pop-up Emotes uses the same client and server environment as Simple Emotes and is not open source, with files for 1.19.2 – 26.3. Player Emotes also runs on client and server, under the Apache License 2.0, with files for 1.20.1 – 26.3.

With this mod you can do emote animations anywhere you want. By default the animations are not set to any key so you have to manually set it.
