Not interested!
by MoonFather
Not interested! lets a player send a wandering trader away from the trade screen with a single button, which suits a trader who has settled on a planned build site.
What it does
The mod places a button on the wandering trader's trade screen. Pressing it tells the trader to leave, for players who prefer not to deal with the trader and do not want to kill it. In a multiplayer world the trader may pick another nearby player within walking distance but not too close to visit; if no such player is around, the trader simply moves on along the road.
The button works the same in single-player worlds and on servers. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 16 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.3, and the code is open source under the MIT License. The server and every player need the mod installed.
Key features
Dismiss button on the trade screen
A button on the wandering trader's trade window tells the trader to go away without any trade.
Multiplayer visit selection
On a server the trader may choose another player within walking distance to visit, instead of leaving at once.
No combat needed
The trader is sent away rather than destroyed, so no weapons or fights are involved.
Small, single-purpose change
The mod does one thing: it adds the dismissal button and its multiplayer behaviour, with no other content.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.

Use cases
Clearing a planned build site
A player whose build spot is occupied by a wandering trader can send the trader away and carry on building.
Server visits
On multiplayer servers the trader can move to a nearby player, spreading the visit across the group.
Who it’s for: Players who want a wandering trader to leave without killing it, and server owners who want the trader to visit other players nearby.
How it compares
Wandering Trader May Leave is available for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 1.20.1 – 26.3, is client and server, and is released under All rights reserved, so its code is not open source. Wandering Trader + is for Forge and NeoForge only, across 1.20.1 – 26.1.2, is client and server, and is under the MIT License without being open source. Better Wandering Trader Spawning is a Fabric mod for 1.21.7 alone, server-side only, and open source under the MIT License, so clients need nothing.

What the author says
This mod adds a button onto a wandering trader's trade screen - a button you can use to tell him to bugger off. It's not much, author knows that, but a few days ago a wandering trader was chilling at the spot where the author was planning a vineyard so he felt inspired.
