No ESC in GUI stops the Escape key from closing most in-game screens, such as inventories, chests, crafting tables, furnaces and anvils, while the pause menu still opens as usual.

What it does

When the mod is active, pressing Escape inside an inventory, container or custom screen no longer closes it, which keeps players from losing their place. The pause menu is not affected, so Escape still opens it as expected. The mod runs on the client alone and needs Cloth Config API and Fabric API, with Mod Menu as an optional companion. Files are published for Fabric only, for the game versions 1.21.4, 1.21.10 and 1.21.11, with 1.0.0 for 1.21.10 as the latest file, under the MIT License, which is not an open source license.
