More Practical Enchantments
by DY_XiaoJiaZi
Players who enchant weapons, armor, tools, elytra and shields gain 23 new enchantments with unique mechanics through More Practical Enchantments, a Forge mod for 1.20.1.
What it does
Each new enchantment is designed in the style of vanilla ones, with a tier system that sets how rare it is and conflict rules that keep incompatible enchantments from stacking. Values such as strength and duration can be changed in the config file, so server owners can tune the balance to their own world.
The mod covers weapons, armor, tools, elytra and shields. It runs on Forge 47.x.x and is published only for Minecraft 1.20.1. Both the server and every player need it, since it has to be installed on each side. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source, though its source code is publicly available.
Key features
23 new enchantments
The enchantments add new effects to weapons, armor, tools, elytra and shields, extending the vanilla set.
Unique mechanics
Several enchantments follow mechanics not found in vanilla, so combinations on the same item behave differently.
Tiered balance
Enchantments are grouped into tiers, and some pairs are exclusive, forcing trade-offs when building gear.
Configurable values
Effect strengths and related numbers are exposed in the config so server owners can adjust them.
