alwaysallowtp

by DY_XiaoJiaZi

alwaysallowtp lets players on a Forge server run teleport commands without operator permissions, and it is the server side that handles it.

ForgeServer-side onlyAll rights reserved1.20.1

What it does

The mod adds two teleport commands for ordinary players on Forge servers for Minecraft 1.20.1. Server owners can grant teleporting without giving operator rights, which keeps the wider command set out of reach while still letting players move around. Teleporting works in survival mode as well, so the server does not need a creative or cheat setup for travel.

Teleports cross between the Overworld, the Nether and the End. Before a player is moved, the mod checks the destination and avoids spots that are dangerous, such as lava or cliff edges, and a failed check keeps the player where they are. A cooldown stops players from spamming teleports, and the default of 3 seconds can be changed in the config. Coordinate teleportation with a tps command taking x, y and z is limited to cheat mode, so it is not open to everyone.

The mod is server-side only, so players join without installing anything and only the server needs it. Files are published for Forge 1.20.1 as version 1.0.0, released on 2026-01-14, and the mod is licensed as All rights reserved, so it is not open source. Public source code exists, but the license does not grant reuse.

Key features

  1. Teleport without operator rights

Ordinary players can use teleport commands, so the server avoids giving out operator permissions.

  2. Safe destinations

Teleport destinations are checked for hazards like lava and steep drops, and when the check fails the player stays where they are.

  3. Cross-dimension travel

Players can move between the Overworld, the Nether and the End with the same commands.

  4. Configurable cooldown

A cooldown blocks repeated teleports, set to 3 seconds by default and adjustable in the config.

Orb Of Origin Cooldown covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 1.20 – 1.20.6, with the server required and the client optional, under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later.
