Minecraft Heroes
Minecraft Heroes adds three special Hero Hearts that are lost only when a player is killed by another player, not by mobs, falls or other hazards.
What it does
Hero Hearts are kept apart from regular health. They are lost only when another player kills the holder, so mob damage, accidents and environmental harm leave them untouched. That keeps player-versus-player encounters weighted toward the fight itself. The mod runs on client and server, so every player on a server that runs it needs it too. Files target Forge for 1.20.1 only, with 1.0-1.20.1 as the latest build, released 2025-05-28. Required dependencies are Alex's Mobs, Citadel, Curios API and GraveStone Mod. The code is All rights reserved and is not open source.
