With BlockFront, players take part in World War II battles on Forge and NeoForge, using a class system, weapons, vehicles and maps set in historical locations.
What it does
Matches are built around squads and objectives. Players pick a class, hold a front line, flank the opposing side and coordinate with their squad. The mod provides rifles, submachine guns, pistols and grenades, and each weapon has its own statistics and effects that a player can combine into a loadout. Guns, explosives and vehicles are part of the core combat.
Several maps reproduce real locations from the Second World War, such as Stalingrad, Normandy and Berlin, with terrain and buildings meant to suit close-quarters fighting. Sounds, visuals and animations are tuned to the period. Matchmaking is handled by the mod's own multiplayer system, which keeps in-game statistics for kills, deaths, streaks, achievements and rank progression, and supports friends lists, parties and invitations.
Installation needs the Forge or NeoForge loader. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files cover game versions 1.19.4 – 1.21.1, and the license is All rights reserved, so the mod is not open source. Snapshot builds are not listed.
