Kits Creator

by ProdigeGasy

Kits Creator lets server owners build reusable item kits in a Minecraft world and hand them out to players with a single command.

FabricForgeNeoForgeQuiltServer required, client optionalAll rights reserved1.21 – 1.21.4

What it does

A kit is made by placing the desired items in an inventory and running a command that saves them under a name. Afterwards any player can claim that kit with the trigger kits command, so starter gear, reward bundles and equipment loadouts can be set up without manual item handling. Kits can be removed again with a separate command when they are no longer needed.

Kits Creator is a server-side tool, so the server needs it while players may add it. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with files covering the game versions 1.21 – 1.21.4. Every release is licensed under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source. A Data pack version is also available for servers that do not run a mod loader.

Key features

  1. Kit creation

Items placed in an inventory are saved as a named kit through one command, with no configuration file to edit.

  2. Player access

Players claim available kits with the trigger kits command, which lets a server hand out gear on request.

  3. Kit removal

A kit is deleted with a dedicated command when it should no longer be available to players.

  4. Simple command set

Creating, claiming and removing kits all run from short commands, so no setup beyond installation is needed.

Use cases

Starter gear

Server owners can save a set of tools and armor as a kit that new players claim when they join.

Reward bundles

A kit can hold special items that are handed out to players as a prize for events or achievements.

Who it’s for: Server owners who want to give players prepared equipment sets on a Fabric, Forge, NeoForge or Quilt server, and map makers who need the same loadouts in an adventure world.

How it compares

Full comparison

SkiesKits is server-side only, open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 and published for Fabric on 1.20.1 – 1.21.1. Simple Kits is also server-side only and available for Fabric, but its files cover 1.21.4 – 1.21.11 and it is not open source. Client Kits+ is client-side only, so it does not manage kits on a server.
