Prodige's Skills adds a plugin-style skill system to Minecraft, with levels, prestiges and boosters that players can track in a dedicated skill interface.
What it does
Skills are leveled by performing actions in the game, and the system is aimed at RPG servers that want progression beyond the vanilla experience bar. Players open a skill interface to follow their progress, buy XP point boosters from a shop to speed things up, and adjust their settings through a preferences menu. Reaching level 100 resets a skill's progress in exchange for permanent buffs, and prestiges extend progression further.
The server must run the mod, while players may leave it out and still join, so only the server needs it. Files cover 1.21 – 1.21.4 across Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, plus a data pack option for other server platforms, with 4.1+mod for 1.21.4 as the latest file. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Configuration files use simple dictionaries and lists, and every setting, including the rewards given for skill actions, can be edited by keeping the correct structure.

How it compares
It is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Fáilte Skill Tree targets only 1.21.1 and runs on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, where installing it on the server alone is enough. It is licensed CC0 1.0 Universal and is not open source. Player Level Skills (LevelZ Rework) is a Fabric mod for 1.21.11 that runs on client and server, and it is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.
