JustAPotionHud replaces the potion display with a clean HUD that shows each active effect's icon, name, amplifier, remaining time and expiry warnings.
What it does
Each active effect is drawn as an icon with its name, amplifier level and remaining time, and the HUD can be placed on either side of the screen with the icon moved left or right of the text. Effects flicker as they near expiry, following the vanilla warning behavior, so a player can notice a running-out effect before it ends.
A Preview Mode shows the HUD layout without any active effects, which makes it easier to adjust the position and style before playing. The in-game configuration screen is reachable from the pause menu through ModMenu, and the interface has been translated into more than 20 languages. The HUD also works with texture packs.
The mod is a Fabric mod for 26.2 and the other 1.21 builds, and it is client-side only, so servers do not need it. Its custom license means the code is not open source. A separate PingLess Attack Indicator feature addresses the attack cooldown display that can jump up and down on high-ping connections.
