No Inv Recipe Book(NIRB)

by LumyNova

No Inv Recipe Book, or NIRB, removes the recipe book from the survival inventory screen while leaving it in workstation screens such as the crafting table.

FabricClient-side onlyCustom license1.21 – 26.2

What it does

Inside the player inventory, the recipe book button and panel are hidden, so the screen keeps its vanilla layout without the extra side panel. Crafting tables, furnaces and the other workstations still open the recipe book exactly as they do in the base game, and the mod does not change how crafting works.

The mod is a Fabric client mod released under a custom license. Only the client needs it, so players can join servers without installing anything. Files exist for Minecraft 1.21 – 26.2, with 16 release versions covered and 1.0.0 for 26.2 as the latest file, published on 2026-06-25.

The mod is a simple fix: it removes the recipe book from the personal inventory and keeps the rest of the interface unchanged. Because the source code is public, players can read how the change is made before installing it.

Key features

  1. Hidden inventory recipe book

The recipe book is removed from the survival inventory screen, so the window is not cluttered by the side panel.

  2. Workstations keep the book

Crafting tables, furnaces and other workstations still show the recipe book where it belongs.

  3. Vanilla inventory look

The inventory keeps its normal appearance, without the empty space or odd layout that other recipe book removals leave behind.

  4. Button left in place

The recipe book button stays in the inventory screen, keeping the layout familiar to players.
