PingLess Attack Indicator
by LumyNova
PingLess Attack Indicator removes the cooldown delay from the attack indicator, so the item swap and the displayed attack speed stay in sync even on high-ping connections.
What it does
The indicator shows the attack cooldown for the item in the main hand. In the original versions, the display lagged behind an item swap while the server confirmed the change, and the bar bobbed up and down, which is most visible at high ping. PingLess Attack Indicator calculates the correct attack speed on the client at once, so the bar matches the swap without waiting for a server reply. The effects of Haste and Conduit Power are counted for both hands, so the value reflects the real cooldown.
The mod was built as a maintained, enhanced successor to the Attack Cooldown Sync mod. Its original author stopped updating that project, and this version carries the same core job forward and has been adapted to newer and unsupported Minecraft versions. Only major changes are added, and no configuration is needed: installing the mod on the client is enough. It runs in client-side only mode, so servers do not need it and players can join a server without installing it. Files exist for Fabric and Forge, and the mod covers 1.19.2 – 26.2 across 18 release versions.
Key features
Instant attack speed
The attack speed is recalculated on the client as soon as the held item changes, instead of waiting for the server.
Synced attack indicator
The cooldown bar stays aligned with the hotbar swap, removing the visible delay on high-ping connections.
Haste and Conduit Power
Haste and Conduit Power effects are counted for both hands when the cooldown is computed.
Bobbing removed
The indicator no longer moves up and down while items are swapped, so the display looks steady.

What the author says
Pingless Attack Indicator (P.A.I) is a maintained & enhanced version of the mod Attack Cooldown Sync created by catgirljade. When you swap items in your hotbar, the game takes a moment to update your attack speed. This causes that annoying delay on your cooldown indicator that makes your game not feel and look clean…
