Better Potions HUD keeps potion effect timers and amplifier levels readable in the top-right effect icons, matching the vanilla look and placement.
What it does
Effect duration and amplifier levels are drawn directly on the HUD icons, with vanilla-style font size, color and position. Higher amplifiers are shown as numbers instead of being cut off. An option switches the amplifier between Roman numerals and normal numbers, and another replaces the vanilla amplifier display. Effects applied with hidden particles enabled still appear, which the vanilla HUD omits, so an effect given with the particles flag set to true is listed in the top-right area as expected. Timer text and amplifier colors can be configured.
The mod needs Fabric API, Mod Menu and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) to be installed alongside it. The mod is client-side only, so only the client needs it and servers run without it. Files are published for Fabric across six game versions, 1.21.11 – 26.3, and the code is not open source, released under All rights reserved. The mod also uses FastStats Analytics.
