Jump Delay Fix
by Kizio Labs
Jump Delay Fix removes the short pause the vanilla game imposes after a player lands, so the next jump starts at once.
What it does
Vanilla Minecraft holds a player for a fixed interval after landing before another jump can begin. Jump Delay Fix takes that hardcoded wait out, letting a second jump start the moment feet touch the ground. The result is movement that responds instantly, which suits casual play and parkour, where timing between jumps matters.
The mod runs only on the client, so players install it and the server does not need it. It requires Fabric API on Fabric, and it also supports NeoForge. Its own files target 26.3 as the newest release, and the full set of builds covers 1.21.9 – 26.3 across eight versions. Its source code is available under the Apache License 2.0, and it is open source.
Optional companions that the author notes can be used alongside include EMI, Iris Shaders, Just Enough Items (JEI), Lithium, Mod Menu, Roughly Enough Items (REI) and Sodium. None of them is needed to run the mod, but Mod Menu gives access to its settings screen.
