JEITweaker lets CraftTweaker scripts control what Just Enough Items shows, including hidden items, hidden categories and added item descriptions.

What it does

The mod connects CraftTweaker to Just Enough Items. Scripts can hide items and categories from the JEI item list and attach descriptive text to items. It was once part of CraftTweaker itself, and was split out as a separate mod when CraftTweaker was rewritten for 1.14. It needs CraftTweaker, Fabric API and Just Enough Items (JEI) to run, and is published for Fabric and Forge across 1.14.4 – 1.20.1, released under the MIT License and open source.

Key features

  1. Hidden items

    Scripts can remove chosen items from the JEI item list, so they no longer appear in searches or recipe views.

  2. Hidden categories

    Entire JEI recipe categories can be hidden through CraftTweaker scripts, for example to trim a modpack's interface.

  3. Item descriptions

    Descriptive text can be added to items, which JEI then displays in its item information pages.

This mod adds CraftTweaker support for Just Enough Items, such as the ability to hide items, hide categories and add JEI descriptions items. This used to be a part of CraftTweaker itself, but since CraftTweaker was rewritten for 1.14, the mod support is being pulled out into it's own mod.
