ModTweaker

by jaredlll08

ModTweaker is a Forge addon that lets recipe changes reach mods with custom crafting handlers.

ForgeClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.6.4 – 1.12.2

What it does

ModTweaker extends a recipe manipulation utility, so scripts can adjust the recipes added by other mods. Recipes can be changed, removed entirely or added as new entries. Its stated aim is to cover mods that use their own crafting mechanics, which the base tool does not support natively, and support is added over time. Players and server owners find the supported and planned mods on the project wiki, while bugs belong on the GitHub issue tracker. Installation needs the Forge loader, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need the mod. Files cover 1.6.4 – 1.12.2 across 11 release versions, and the code is released under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Recipe editing

Existing crafting recipes from other mods can be modified through scripts.

  2. Recipe removal

Recipes can be removed entirely, leaving the crafting result unavailable to players.

  3. Custom handler support

Adds support for mods that use custom crafting handlers, which the base tool does not read natively.
