Fullscreen Tweaks
by oggvik
Fullscreen Tweaks gives Minecraft a dedicated fullscreen configuration, covering window mode, focus-loss behavior and the loading window.
What it does
The mod expands the window settings with native and borderless fullscreen modes. Its focus-loss behavior can be set so the game stays visible when another application takes focus, such as after alt-tabbing or clicking another monitor. A separate option keeps the loading window minimized until the game has finished launching. A Fullscreen Settings screen sits in the main Options menu, and the mod can prevent minimization independently of the chosen fullscreen style.
Version 2.0.0 adds native borderless SDL3 fullscreen. Builds exist on Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt and LiteLoader, and cover b1.7.3 – 26.3 with 55 release versions. Fabric API is required on Fabric, and Mod Menu is an optional companion. Because the mod is client-side only, a server does not need it.
Key features
Borderless fullscreen modes
Both native fullscreen and borderless fullscreen are offered, and borderless mode fills the monitor holding most of the game window.
Focus-loss policy
The window can stay visible when another application takes focus, and the policy is reapplied after the window is created.
Loading window control
The loading window can stay minimized until the game finishes launching, separate from the fullscreen options.
Fullscreen Settings screen
A dedicated screen in the Options menu holds all the fullscreen and focus controls, and it does not move other mods' entries.
