Fright's Delight

Players who cook with hostile mob drops can use Fright's Delight, a Farmer's Delight addon that turns rotten flesh, spider eyes and other mob items into horror-themed dishes, drinks and sweets.

What it does

The mod adds food and beverage items made from materials taken from hostile mobs. Recipes cover berry bushes such as Soul Berry Bush and Cursed Berry Bush, punches for every drink, cookies, syrups, lollipops, ring candy and pies, plus Punch Bowls for serving drinks and crates and candy baskets for storage and decoration. Each dish is built around a horror theme, with a minecraft-inspired flavor.

Five harmful status effects bring slowed movement, slimy steps, spectral chills and voices, with subtitles supported. Two beneficial effects grant immunity to some of them. Farmer's Delight, Farmer's Delight Refabricated and Fabric API are required, so the food system they provide is needed before the addon works.

Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 12 release versions, 1.19.2 – 1.21.11, and the code is open source under the MIT License.

    Support is included for several other mods, including recipe viewers such as EMI, REI and JEI.
