Forestry: CE
Forestry: CE is a Community Edition port of the classic Forestry mod, expanding Minecraft with bees, trees, butterflies and farms for Forge and NeoForge.
What it does
Bees, trees and butterflies form the core of the mod. Bees carry genetic traits that can be bred and selected, while trees and butterflies add natural and decorative content to the world. Multiblock farms and renewable energy production give players machines to build around these systems, and a mail system lets them send items between locations.
Forestry: CE requires Patchouli, which supplies its in-game guide book. Just Enough Items (JEI) is optional and adds recipe lookup when installed. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Forge and NeoForge across 1.12.2, 1.19.2, 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, with the newest Forge build for 1.20.1 and the newest NeoForge build an alpha for 1.21.1. The code is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source. Mo' Bees, Gendustry: CE and Bee Mastery require it.

Binnie's Mods is an earlier Forge release covering 1.2.5 – 1.7.10, open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, with the same client and server environment. Buzzier Bees is a Forge and NeoForge mod for 1.16.5 – 1.21.1 under a custom license and is not open source, and it covers bees alone rather than the wider Forestry set.
