Forestry extends Forge with bee and tree breeding, automated farms, backpacks, a mail system and energy production for 1.12.2.

What it does

Forestry adds a set of production systems to the game. Bees are bred for traits and produce honey and other products, while trees can be bred and grown in orchards. Automatic farms harvest crops without manual work, and an orchard setup can run several trees in one area. Energy production is handled through machines that turn the farm output into power.

Intelligent backpacks carry items between tasks, and a mail system lets players send items to one another. Forestry is published for Forge only, with builds for b1.8.1 – 1.12.2 across 15 release versions. The server and every player need the mod installed. The code is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source. Binnie's Mods requires Forestry to be installed.
