Fish On The Line

Holding a bell in the offhand while fishing makes a sound when a fish bites, so the player can look away until the bell rings.
What it does
The sound is a helper for fishing without constant watching. While a bell sits in the offhand and a line is cast, a chime plays as soon as a fish is on the line, and the player only has to right-click to reel it in. Fish On The Line needs Collective, and it is server-side only, so players join without installing it.
By default the bell must be held in the offhand for the sound to play, and a config option can turn that requirement off. The mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt across 29 release versions, 1.16.5 – 26.3, and the code is licensed as All rights reserved.
