What it does

Fedora is a hat mod for Fabric and Quilt that adds cosmetic hats worn by players and other entities. It requires Fabric API, and either side can run it, so neither a client nor a server has to have it. Files exist for 1.16.4 and 1.18.2, with 1.2.0 for 1.18.2 as the latest build on both loaders. The code is open source under the MIT License.

Key features

  1. Cosmetic hats

Hats are worn on the head of players and entities, changing only how they look rather than what they do.

  2. Hats earned through play

On a server running the mod, players can earn hats by defeating mobs, and hats are visible to everyone else.

  3. Hats added over time

Twenty-nine hats have been added since release, and fresh hats arrive without a new mod version being installed.
