What it does

The mod adds hats modeled on villager headwear, crafted from ordinary materials. Equipping a hat requires an accessories mod, which provides a hat slot separate from the helmet slot. Villager Hats is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, with files covering 1.17 – 1.21.1 and snapshot builds available. Fabric API is required on every loader, while Curios API Continuation and Trinkets are optional.

Both the server and every player need the mod, so the environment is client and server. Fabric 1.7.2+1.21 and NeoForge 1.7.2+1.21 are the latest files for 1.21.1, and Quilt 1.6.2+1.20 is the latest for 1.20.4.
