Explorer's Compass

With Explorer's Compass, a right-click opens a menu for choosing a structure, and the compass then points toward the nearest match in the world.
What it does
Right-clicking with the compass opens a menu where a player selects one structure or a set of structures to locate. Pressing the sneak key with a right-click clears the compass state. While a search is active, details about the located structure appear on the heads-up display. If the compass has no target, it points at the world spawn instead. The search covers every registered structure, both vanilla and from other mods, and settings such as the maximum search radius and a blacklist of structures are kept in a config file.
Explorer's Compass is craftable and its recipe is shown in the mod's own crafting entry. The mod needs both the server and every player to run it, so the environment is client and server. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with the latest builds for 26.3 on Fabric and NeoForge and 1.20.1 on Forge. The code is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license and is not open source. Source code and an issue tracker are linked publicly.
