Notes
by Chaosyr
Notes gives players a clientside in-game notepad, opened with the N key, for writing down reminders tied to the current world or server.
What it does
Pressing N opens the Notes screen, where a player creates and edits notes through a simple interface. Each note can be kept for a single world, for a single server or globally across every game the player joins. Notes that matter most can be pinned to the HUD so they stay visible during play.
The notes listed for the current world or server appear together, which keeps the session's reminders in one place. The mod runs in single-player and multiplayer clients alone, so a server does not need to install it. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, covering 1.7.10 – 26.3, and the code is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0, so it is not open source. DeathHistoryNotes requires this mod, so installing Notes is needed before that companion can work.

Use cases
Reminders for a survival world
A player records base locations, unfinished projects or resource goals for one world and keeps them out of the way of other saves.
Who it’s for: Players who want a notepad inside the game and do not need the server to change. Players who play several worlds or servers can keep separate lists for each.
