Console Filter hides chosen lines from the game console, matched by plain text or by regular expression.

What it does

Console Filter removes lines from the console output when they include a configured string or fit a configured pattern. Messages are filtered out of the console output, so the log stays readable when a noisy message repeats. The filter can also be set to match on a logger name. Either side can run it, and neither needs it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with the latest builds for 26.2 and 1.20.1, under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license, and the mod is not open source.

Key features

  1. Hide messages by text

    Lines containing a configured string are removed from the console, such as repeated warnings about movement.

  2. Hide messages by regex

    A regular expression can match timing lines or other patterns that vary from one message to the next.

  3. Logger filter

    Messages can be hidden by the logger that produced them, for example to silence one noisy mod's output.
