Drip Sounds
by PieKing1215
Drip Sounds gives water and lava drip particles the Dripstone drip sounds, and adds settings for how often and where block particles and ambient sounds play.
What it does
Drip particles that land on the ground play the sounds used by pointed dripstone, with a configurable volume and sound category. The mod also lets players change the rate at which drip particles spawn.
Beyond drips, the settings cover the random animation ticks that many blocks use for particle effects such as smoke, falling leaves, fireflies and bubble columns. The maximum range and the number of blocks that receive these ticks can be adjusted, and some ambient sounds from fire, lava and portals are affected as well. Drip Sounds requires Cloth Config API, and Mod Menu is optional for opening its settings screen.
The mod is client-side only, so the server does not need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, and the source code is open source with its license covering the code. Builds cover 1.16.1 – 26.3, with snapshot builds also published.
