DraconicSpells adds ice and fire spells to Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, with fire dragon and ice dragon spell schools for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1.
What it does
The mod adds an ice and fire spell theme to Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks. Its spells cover fireballs that explode and set enemies alight on impact, summoned wings and a fire dragon that slashes foes with claws, and immunity to freezing and burning, which lets a caster walk across lava. Two spell schools, Fire Dragon School and Ice Dragon School, focus on the fire dragon heart and the ice dragon heart. Further spells draw on dragons, titans, birds, serpents and villagers from the same theme.
Ice and Fire and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks are required, and Ice and Fire: Spellbooks is an optional companion. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Builds exist for Forge only, for 1.20.1, with 1.6 as the latest beta file from 2026-07-05. The code is under the Apache License 2.0, but the mod is not open source in the sense of the catalog's open source label.
