Create: Origins lets a Create backtank serve as a power source for the Origins mod, and adds a Mechanical Sight power.
What it does
The mod connects two systems. Backtank capabilities from Create are linked to Origins, and a new power shows the Goggles overlay to a player even when no Goggles are worn. Create Fabric and Origins are both required, and the mod is published for Fabric and Quilt across 1.19.2 and 1.20.1.
Helmets for diving let Merlings, and any origin with water-breathing, breathe on land. Boots for diving restrict movement for Merlings and for origins that use the swim speed and like water powers. Netherite diving gear gets its own entity condition, so it is exempt from the water vulnerability. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod.
The license is CC0 1.0 Universal, and the code is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker. Files for 1.19.2 and 1.20.1 were first published on 2023-02-23, and the latest file, 1.5.0 for 1.20.1, was published on 2025-11-24.
