Mars Popsicle swaps Ad Astra's temperature handling for Cold Sweat, with planet temperatures that track each world's orbit.
What it does
Ad Astra's own temperature system is replaced by Cold Sweat's. Base temperatures follow the planets' orbits, so the values for each world match Ad Astra's figures. An oxygen distributor stabilizes the temperature of a world, and the Space Suit gives full cold protection with some heat protection, while the player must still wear oxygen. The Netherite Space Suit and Jet Suit each give full temperature protection and also need oxygen worn.
The mod requires Ad Astra and Cold Sweat, and it is published for Forge and NeoForge with files for 1.20.1. Only the server needs it, so players join without installing it. Its code is under the MIT License and is open source, and the author points to a public source repository and an issue tracker. The first file was released on 2024-09-07, and the latest, 1.1.0, on 2024-11-21. The author recommends disabling temperature damage in the Ad Astra config so the two systems do not both apply.
