ComputerCraft
With ComputerCraft, players build in-game computers, turtle robots and monitors, then control them with programs written in the Lua language.
What it does
Computers and turtles are placed in the world and programmed from an in-game terminal. Turtle robots can move, dig, place blocks and carry items, following whatever Lua program the player writes for them. The mod turns programming into a gameplay activity, and the author notes it as a practical way to learn real-world coding skills.
The mod is released for Forge and ModLoader, with Forge files covering 1.10.2 and the older ModLoader builds matching 1.2.4. Because the mod supports client and server play, the server and every player need it. Its license is a custom one and the code is not open source, though the source code is publicly available. Daniel Ratcliffe created ComputerCraft in late 2011, and a later upload to Modrinth was made for archival purposes, with the original author's consent.
