Guide-API
Guide-API is a Forge library for creating in-game guide books, with its own creative tab for them.
What it does
The library registers the guide books it contains and places them in a creative tab of its own. Book content is meant to be supplied through JSON files, though the author notes that this support is still in progress. Files exist for Forge only, across 12 release versions spanning 1.7.10 – 1.12.2, and the 1.12-2.1.8-63 build for 1.12.2 is the latest, dated 2023-09-08. Both client and server need the mod, and the code is open source under the MIT License.
