Coins JE
by Darkhax
Coins JE gives players a five-tier coin currency, from copper to netherite, that can be smelted, converted and stored in piles for quests and role play.
What it does
Copper, iron, gold, diamond and netherite coins are obtained by smelting their matching ingots in a furnace, blast furnace or similar machine. Coins of one tier convert to lower tiers through crafting recipes: an iron coin becomes nine copper coins at a crafting table. Players can also combine nine coins of the same tier into a pile coin, which keeps large amounts of currency in one item, and a pile can be smelted back into a single coin of the next tier.
The mod suits adventure maps, custom quests, role play servers and simple economy setups that need several denominations. It runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it depends on Bookshelf, Fabric API and Prickle to start. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt. The license is All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
Key features
Five coin tiers
Copper, iron, gold, diamond and netherite coins form a ladder where each tier is worth nine of the one below.
Smelting to obtain coins
Each coin is produced by smelting its ingot in a furnace or blast furnace, giving a clear route to every tier.
Pile coins
Nine coins of the same tier combine into a pile coin, which makes large sums simpler to carry and store.
Crafting conversion
Coins convert between tiers with crafting recipes, so a player can break a higher coin into smaller change.

Use cases
Custom quests
Quest designers can use the coin tiers as rewards and payments inside datapacks or quest mods.
Role play economies
Servers built around role play can use the five tiers as a simple shared currency.
Who it’s for: Adventure map makers, quest designers and server owners who want a layered, readily understood currency. The mod is aimed at worlds where a single coin value would be too coarse.
