Affogato Core

Affogato Core is a Fabric library of gameplay tweaks that server owners and modpack makers toggle through a Fzzy Config file, covering villages, raids, night vision and tool values.
What it does
Core is built for modpacks and servers that need to change vanilla behavior without editing the game jar. Each tweak can be switched on or off through the config provided by Fzzy Config, and a few features only take effect when that config is set. Nothing in the set is required for the others to run, so a pack can keep the parts it wants and leave the rest at their defaults.
The features reach across several parts of the game: villager trading, village and outpost spawns, night vision recipes, difficulty defaults on new worlds, riptide use in rain, item durability, attack damage and mining speed, fuel burn times, dungeon and mineshaft chances, ore generation, smelting XP rewards, and removal of recipes or creative tab entries by item ID. The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. It requires Fabric API and Fzzy Config, and Mod Menu is optional.
The source code is public and the mod is released under the MIT License. Files are published for Fabric across six game versions, 1.20.1 – 26.1.2, with 26.1.16 as the latest build for 26.1.2, dated 2026-05-23. Snapshot builds are not listed.
Key features
Villager trading toggle
Disables villager trading and makes villages spawn abandoned variants, with wandering traders excluded from the change.
Raid rework
Raids start at outposts instead of villages, and a won raid stops further pillager outposts from spawning. Modded outposts can be added through a tag.
Recipe and item filtering
Removes recipes, hides items in creative tabs and recipe viewers, and replaces one loot table item with another, all matched by item ID.
Resource and tool tuning
Adjusts exhaustion, armor and unique item durability, tool attack damage, attack speed, mining speed, fuel burn times and ore generation size.

How it compares
Night Eye is a client-side only Fabric mod under the MIT License, with files for 1.20.6 – 1.21 and open source code, so it changes only the client. NightVisionAlways is also client-side only but not open source, released under the MIT License for 1.21.10 – 26.3. Core is client and server and covers much more than night vision alone.
