Achievement Style
by Hainer
Achievement Style redesigns the on-screen messages that appear when a player earns an advancement, drawing them as animated cards in the bottom-right corner.
What it does
Each advancement pops up as a smooth animated message in the bottom-right corner of the screen, showing the item icon and the title. Notification width, height, animation speed and duration can be adjusted, and the sound played with each message can be changed, all through Mod Menu. The text is available in several languages out of the box.
The mod targets singleplayer and multiplayer clients, and it works alongside most mods that add custom advancements. It is built to stay light on resources, so it does little work beyond drawing the notifications. Fabric is the only loader it supports, and the project is published for 18 release versions, 1.20.1 – 26.3, with snapshot builds included. Fabric API and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) are required, and Mod Menu is optional for changing the options in game.
The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source and issue tracker are public. The first release appeared on 2025-05-26 and the most recent update is dated 2026-09-19, when version 1.4.5 for 26.3 was published.
Key features
Animated advancement messages
Each earned advancement is shown as a sliding card with its icon and title, rather than the default pop-up.
Adjustable notification size
Width and height of the notification can be changed to suit the screen and the player's taste.
Animation speed and duration
The speed of the animation and the time each message stays on screen can both be set.
Custom notification sound
The sound played with each advancement can be customized from the Mod Menu options.
Multilingual text
The interface text ships in several languages, so the messages work without a separate translation pack.
