Philips Ruins

by PhilipModDev

Philips Ruins generates ancient ruins in the world, with over 190 ruin variants that each carry their own loot tables and a few hidden bosses.

FabricForgeNeoForgeClient and serverAll rights reserved1.18.2 – 1.21.11

What it does

Ruins are placed in the terrain and blend into it rather than ending in a hard edge, so they look as though they stood before villages or other structures were built. Most loot sits buried underground or under stones from the ruin, so a player has to dig or search to reach it. Some ruins hold hidden bosses that appear while exploring the remains.

The mod is built for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge across 23 release versions, 1.18.2 – 1.21.11, and both the server and every player need it. The project is released under All rights reserved and is not open source. Public links cover an issue tracker, and the newest Fabric file targets 1.21.11.

Key features

  1. Over 190 ruin variants

Each ruin type has its own layout and a custom loot table, so no two sites hold the same items.

  2. Buried loot

Many chests and items sit underground or under rubble, which rewards digging and careful searching.

  3. Hidden bosses

Certain ruins contain bosses that are not marked on the surface and must be found by exploring.

  4. Terrain blending

Structures merge with rough ground and erosion, avoiding the sharp cut-off edge seen in many structure mods.
