Philip's Biome Features, a server-side world generation mod, adds boulders, rocks and stone formations to vanilla biomes.

What it does

Rocks, boulders, wood logs and small stone features are placed on forest floors and other biomes, so explored terrain shows more variety. Some rocks spawn in several variants and stone types, and some contain ores that can be found while digging into them. Only the server needs the mod; players join without installing anything. Files are published for Fabric and Forge for 1.19.2 – 1.21.7, under All rights reserved and not open source.

    Large and small boulders and rocks generate in the world, adding nature detail to biomes that feel bare in vanilla.

  2. Varied stone types

    Rocks appear in several variants and stone types, including black stone, for a wider mix of terrain.

  3. Ores inside rocks

    Some rocks contain precious ores that generate randomly within the stone, rewarding players who dig into them.
