OE's Rocks, a Forge world generation mod for 1.20.1, adds rocks that drop from cobblestone and deepslate and deal extra damage when thrown with a slingshot.
What it does
Rocks are gathered by hitting cobblestone or cobbled deepslate with hammers, and settlements can hold extra rocks. Players who gather from aged settlements have a chance to find more deepslate rocks.
Installation covers the server and each player's game. It is released under the MIT License and is open source, with the source code and issue tracker public. Files target 1.20.1 only, with 1.1.0-alpha for 1.20.1 as the latest Forge build.

Slingshot ammunition
Rocks can be loaded into a slingshot, and heavier rock types deal more damage to targets.
Rock variants
Each of the four rock types is obtained by breaking a different source block with a hammer.
Settlement drops
Aged settlements have a chance to yield extra deepslate rocks when a player explores them.
