What it does

The mod changes how far the view tilts when the player takes damage. Since Mojang added a Damage Tilt accessibility option in a 1.19.4 snapshot, the mod is no longer strictly needed, but it still offers settings the vanilla option lacks. It runs on the client alone, so only players need it and servers can run without it.

Players who want the original tilt style can switch back to the older direction-independent version. The mod also turns off the blinking animation on the health bar. BetterHurtCam requires ukulib, and it is published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt across 49 release versions, b1.7.3 – 26.3, with snapshot builds included. The code is open source under the MIT License.
