PotionCounter
by uku
With PotionCounter installed, the HUD shows how many potions a player still carries, counting normal, splash and lingering types.
What it does
The counter lists potions in the inventory and keeps a running total on the screen. Upgraded potions, those brewed with redstone or glowstone, are counted separately from base potions. Each potion effect can be turned off individually, so a player can hide the ones they do not track. The counter can be moved anywhere on the HUD, and the position can be changed freely.
PotionCounter depends on ukulib, which must be installed alongside it. Servers do not need it; each player installs it for their own game. The mod is published for Fabric, NeoForge and Quilt, with files covering 1.17 – 26.3, and the latest file targets 26.3. The code is open source under the MIT License, and a settings screen can be opened from a mod menu when one is installed.
Key features
Potion totals on the HUD
The number of potions in the inventory appears on screen and updates as potions are used or collected.
Upgraded potion counts
Potions with redstone or glowstone upgrades are counted in their own entries, so the totals stay accurate.
Per-effect toggles
Each potion effect can be disabled individually, removing it from the counter.
Movable counter
The counter's position on the HUD can be changed freely, and the player can place it where it does not overlap other elements.

Use cases
Tracking brewing stock
A player brewing for a raid or a long trip can watch the totals of each potion type without opening the inventory.
Who it’s for: Players who brew or carry many potions and want a running count on the HUD. Single-player and multiplayer clients can both run it, because the server does not need it.
