Plane Advancements
by Nettakrim
Plane Advancements rearranges the advancement screen so that entries sit on a flat plane, closer to the layout of the old Achievements screen.
What it does
Instead of extending vertically off the page, advancements can be arranged as a springy graph with connecting lines locked at 90 degrees or drawn diagonally, in the style of the old Achievements screen. Advancements can be dragged around with the right mouse button and settle back into place, and a compact grid option splits sub-tree tabs from the root.
The screen can show all advancements on a single view, which reduces scrolling for players with large advancement trees. Lines can be colored to show progress, a feature the author describes as one of the more useful additions. Plane Advancements runs on the client only, so servers and other players do not need it.
Plane Advancements is published for Fabric alone, with files for 1.21 – 26.3 and the latest build, 1.6-mc26.3, for 26.3. Optional companions are Advancements Fullscreen and Better Advancements; the author notes that the mod works alongside both, with Better Advancements enlarging the advancement window. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only.
