Too Many Achievements

by tropchick

Too Many Achievements adds about a thousand small, odd achievements for moments vanilla Minecraft usually ignores, such as staring at a wall or behaving suspiciously around villagers.

FabricClient-side onlyMIT License1.21 – 1.21.11

What it does

The client-side Fabric mod builds its own achievement system with an interface, notifications, a history and progress tracking, and it leaves the vanilla advancements in place. Rewards focus on humor and on player behavior: making questionable decisions, barely surviving a disaster, creating oddly specific situations, or accidentally doing something impressive. Some achievements are obvious and others are hidden until they trigger.

The achievement menu is opened by a key and configured through Mod Menu. The mod requires Fabric API and runs on Fabric only, with files for 12 release versions. Only the client needs it; servers do not have to install it, and the achievements are not part of the server's advancement checklist.

The project is released under the MIT License and is not open source. Its latest Fabric file is 1.2.2 for 1.21.11, published on 2026-09-18, and the mod was first published on 2026-05-01.

Key features

  1. Hundreds of custom achievements

The mod adds 1000 custom achievements built around strange, awkward and memorable player moments.

  2. Achievement menu and history

An in-game menu lists every achievement with its progress, and a history records what has been earned.

  3. Earn notifications

A notification appears when an achievement is earned, showing its name and description.

  4. Hidden secret achievements

Some achievements stay hidden until the situation that triggers them happens, so the list holds surprises.

  5. Behavior-based triggers

Achievements respond to player behavior such as looking at the sky, observing the world closely or surviving a silly disaster.
