X-Bar Theory
by flirora
X-Bar Theory adds growable battle towers that rise from the ground as a tree dungeon, with trial spawners and a reward at the top for players who finish the trial.
What it does
The towers grow in the world as tree-like structures built from stone bricks, so each one appears as a landmark rather than a fixed ruin. A tower contains many trial spawners, and each defeated group gives a chance at Celestial Tokens, which are needed to finish the trial. Completing the ominous version of the trial drops rarer Auroran Tokens instead. At the top of the tower, the Celestial Nexus generates a heart that begins the final stage.
The mod was first conceived as a giant tree dungeon, with tree branches as the structure. The author has said the project was paused for about two months before it was finished, and the branch and tower work now reflects that change in direction. The mod requires Fabric API and runs on Fabric for 26.1.2, with files also covering 1.21.5, 1.21.10, 1.21.11 and 26.1. Both the server and every player need it, and the code is open source under the MIT License.
