Worldsinger

by Drakonkinst

Worldsinger brings Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere into Minecraft through a standalone dimension, the planet Lumar, built around colorful spores that replace water.

What it does

Lumar is a dimension of its own, with its own blocks, biomes, weather patterns and an archipelago where oceans are made of alien spores rather than water. The mod introduces six aether spores, each with its own mechanics and behaviors, and spores react to contact with water blocks, snowballs, eyes and living entities, including players. Spore crafting and brewing systems let players experiment with them, and the release adds 79 new blocks and 49 new items.

Vent blocks in the spore oceans can be removed to turn spores solid, and vents freeze time, creating random stillings and temporary deserts while an ocean turns. Players are warned that kicking up too many spore particles is dangerous. Ribbons of water known as rainlines roam the world along predictable routes, except in the Crimson area, and a Sea tracked map follows them.

Worldsinger is a Fabric mod, released under the MIT License and open source. It runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is built to work in both singleplayer and multiplayer. Required dependencies are Fabric API, Geckolib and SmartBrainLib. Files exist for 1.21.1 and 1.21.7, and the latest Fabric file is 1.7.2 for 1.21.7, published 2025-07-15.

Key features

  2. Six aether spores

Each spore has its own mechanics and behaviors, and reacts to water, snowballs, eyes and living entities.

  3. Spore crafting and brewing

Spore-based crafting and brewing systems add a way to experiment with the new materials.
