Whitestone Mod

by HillQiu

Whitestone Mod adds an electric signal system to Minecraft Java Edition, built around a wireless sender, a wireless receiver and transformers that convert signals between Redstone and Whitestone.

What it does

Whitestone is a separate signal system that works like Redstone but carries power without the delay that Redstone has. A signal can be turned into a transformed Whitestone signal and made to travel vertically, so a circuit can pass a signal up or down a level. Transformers convert in both directions, from Redstone to Whitestone and back, so the two systems can be joined in one build. The mod also adds the Whitestone ore, which appears in deepslate, along with a piston head and a placeholder block.

Wireless sender and wireless receiver blocks pass a signal across distance without cables. A sender transmits to the receiver it is paired with, and a receiver updates its neighboring blocks when the sender changes state. Both sides of a wireless link run the mod, so a sender and its receiver must both be placed for the link to work.

Whitestone Mod is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and its source code and issue tracker are public. The mod is published for Fabric only, for 1.20 – 1.21.1, and requires Fabric API. The server and every player need the mod installed.

What the author says

Description: Added "Whitestone" electric system similar to Redstone, but removed the delay, and let the signal can transform vertically. Note: Developer misspell 'transmitter' into 'transformer'. This bug is already fixed in 0.3.0.
