Vanillium

by TeamVoided

Vanillium is a Fabric and Quilt collection of small tweaks to vanilla items, potions and shulker boxes, each one switchable in the config.

FabricQuiltClient and serverMIT LicenseOpen source1.21.1 – 1.21.11

What it does

Vanillium gathers a set of minor changes to how vanilla items behave. Stack sizes can be raised, for example for potions, music discs and horse armor, and item durability can be changed too, with brushes and shears receiving 256 uses by default. Custom cooldowns can be applied to items, with splash and lingering potions given a cooldown by default. Potion durability can be extended, and potion multipliers apply to registered potions, set to x2 by default.

Shulker boxes change as well: right-clicking the air while holding a shulker box, or right-clicking a shulker box already placed, opens its inventory. Every feature can be turned on or off in the configuration, so a server or player can keep only the changes wanted. The mod is meant to add features without causing long-term damage to a world, and it can be removed at any time without lasting effects.

Vanillium needs Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin and Fzzy Config. A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. Files exist for 1.21.1, 1.21.7, 1.21.8, 1.21.9, 1.21.10 and 1.21.11, with the latest Fabric build 1.3.0+1.21.11 and the latest Quilt build 1.1.0+1.21.11. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source.

What the author says

--- A collection of many small vanilla-ish features. As the text above says, this is just a collection of small vanilla-ish features that I wanted on my vanilla world. Everything is configurable, so you can disable any of the features you don't want. The main goal for this mod is to add features that won't case long…
