Tilted

by agmas

Tilted adds crossbow equipment to Minecraft: lean and aim-down-sights handling, scopes, barrels, skins and a fletching table for crafting crossbow attachments.

FabricClient and serverGNU General Public License v3.0 onlyOpen source1.21.8 – 26.3

What it does

Tilted adds a set of attachments and handling options to the crossbow. Players can lean while aiming down sights, pick scopes, barrels and other attachments that change the weapon's stats, and choose between several skins. Power raises how far an arrow travels but also widens the spread, while a shorter charge time comes with its own trade-offs. Some attachments add zoom, and strong zoom narrows the view, which can impair vision. Crossbow sounds can be silenced for stealthier play.

Two new crafting stations support the content: a fletching table and a smithing table. Crossbow skins can be applied at the smithing table, and an ice smithing template allows dye colors on the crossbow, with a few exceptions. Rare crates containing crossbow items are added to the loot of trial chambers at a low chance, and the loot tables for these crates are kept in place in the 26.3 versions.

Tilted runs on Fabric and needs to be installed on the client and the server. It is published for the 1.21.8 – 26.3 range, with files for 26.1 – 26.3 and snapshot builds, and the source code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.

Key features

  1. Lean and aim down sights

Leaning while aiming down sights gives the player more control over the aim position.

  2. Crossbow attachments

Scopes, barrels and other parts can be attached to a crossbow, each changing its stats.

  3. Fletching and smithing tables

Two crafting stations handle attachment crafting and skin application for the crossbow.

  4. Crossbow skins and dye

Skins can be applied with string or at the smithing table, and dye colors can be set with an ice template.

  5. Trial chamber crates

Rare crates with crossbow loot are added to trial chamber rewards at a 1/5 chance.
